Privacy Policy

The short version

Every JRJI tool — Fixer, Minifier, Diff, To CSV, Viewer — runs entirely in your browser. The JSON you paste is parsed and transformed by JavaScript on your device. It is never uploaded, transmitted, logged, or stored by us. Close the tab and it is gone.

What we do not collect

  • The content you paste into any tool — it never leaves your device.
  • Accounts or personal profiles — JRJI has no sign-up and no login.
  • Tool input, file contents, conversion results, filenames, or JSONPath expressions in analytics.

What is stored locally

Your color-theme preference (light or dark) is saved in your browser's localStorage under the key theme. It stays on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Optional Google Analytics

If you select “Allow analytics”, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to JRJI. Google receives page addresses and referrers without query strings or fragments, page titles, browser and device information, and standard connection metadata. Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits and measure engagement. We do not enable advertising personalization, Google signals, or enhanced measurement of forms, site searches, links, downloads, and videos. Analytics does not read your tool inputs.

No Google Analytics script loads before you allow it. Selecting “No thanks” leaves all tools fully usable. Your choice is saved locally under jrji-analytics-consent. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change your choice or withdraw consent; withdrawal disables analytics and clears its cookies on the current hostname. Browsers sending Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals do not load analytics. Local development and Cloudflare preview domains do not send analytics.

Hosting

JRJI is a static site served from a content delivery network. Like any web server, the CDN may process standard request metadata (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver pages and mitigate abuse. This never includes the JSON you work with, because that data is never sent to a server in the first place.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. The tools will continue to process your JSON locally.
